Fashion, Jeans, Miss Sixty
To be honest, I own a gazillion pairs of jeans, yet I can never have enough of them. Every pair comes with a distinctive character and often a sentimental reason as well. Jeans are one of those pieces that can be worn in so many different ways that you can wear them wherever, whenever. To welcome my latest addition, thought a quick photo shoot was appropriate.

Miss Sixty Gray Acid Wash Jeans
They are incredibly comfortable while being super stylish. Love them!

Bride Wars, Fashion, Harper's Bazaar, Kate Hudson
Saw Bride Wars while in New York. Great chick flick. I actually enjoy watching movies that do not require much brain cells. LOL
Anyhow, didn’t realize how hot Kate Hudson was till then. Did she get her nose fixed or somethin’? or should A-Rod get the credit? In any case, she looks amazing!

Kate graced January Issue of Harper’s Bazaar with photos like these:

Really likin’ the sequin details.

Brown Eyed Girls, Fashion, Jeff Koons, Lady Gaga, Style
She sure knows how to surprise us. Remember this?

Woah, that outfit scares me. I hope she doesn’t show up in my dreams.
I probably will never fully comprehend miss Gaga’s style during my life time, which is why I was shocked to learn that some of the super popular designers (including Prada, Rodarte, Alexander Wang) were possibly inspired by her style for their new spring collections. Then again, perhaps she’s just trying to be who she is- to live up to her name, which means “Crazy/Silly”.
Is that dress made out of her hair? What about that dog purse? Jeff Koons would totally be excited to see his famous art piece recreated into a purse made with REAL blonde hair.

Fashion, Jimmy Choo, Jimmy Choo for H&M, Rodarte, Rodarte for Target, Shopping
So apparently, and as expected, throngs of fashionistas on a budget crowded H&Ms all over the world to get their hands on precious Jimmy Choos of their dreams, yet many had to walk out empty-handed. Thanks to the internet, it wasn’t the end of the world for them, as eBay opened another door of opportunity, except that it would cost them twice as more.

Read about it here
When the news hit couple months ago, I vowed to run over to the local H&M and snatch that sucker as well, even thinking of missing work… however, as deadline approached, my interest faded away, which is probably a good thing. I mean, Jimmy Choos are fabulous, but I’d rather go for the REAL THING (not to discount the value of H&M Choos, but I suspect they aren’t at the same level of quality)… As for me, Louboutins on a sale would be much more preferred.
It seems almost like a cool trend these days for high-end designers to launch their lines at low-end stores, or more approachable retailers: I was just informed that Rodarte will be doing an affordable line at Target shortly- available December 20 through February 6, 2010 at Target stores nationwide and on target.com. I personally think that it’s a great marketing strategy to increase awareness of the brand by reaching those who otherwise would never even hear of the brand. It’s also a great excuse for the stylish females who would rather spend on more important elements of life than a piece of Haute Couture clothing that costs an arm and a leg. So if you happen to be at Target, be sure to check out the Women’s Clothing section b/c Rodarte is a not-to-be-missed-kinda stuff for fashionistas like us!

Rodarte Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear
I was captivated by their creative use of mixed materials and beautiful colors of their Spring 2009 collection at an initial encounter. Personally liked the Spring collection more than the current.

Balenciaga, Chanel, Fashion, Handbags
You know the drill. You throw on a pair of skinny jeans like you don’t care and grab that Chanel for instant flair. A classic, well-made bag travels everywhere with you.
Currently in my shopping cart:

Chanel Quilted Leather Bag
Timeless. Classic. Versatile.
Originally making its debut as ‘2.55′ in 1955, it’s now become a fashion classic. From leather to tweed to red to pink, this bag has a history and the trend will continue. It’s like a rare bottle of wine that tastes better as it ages.

Ever-so-stylish LC takes it everywhere.

Need I say more?

It has a power to upgrade every type of outfit.

From casual to dressy, it does it all- so gracefully and elegantly.

Then, there’s a store that I try to avoid everytime I pass by, and it’s because of these pretty things:

Well, maybe they are not so little after all…
Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag in pastel green
Ah- so refreshing.

’First’ in Pomegranate- I think it knows that it’s cute.

Yet, Lindsay does it again-
Heard that she just made her debut as a Creative Consultant working for Emanuel Ungaro. Despite all the criticisms, I think it’s awesome that she’s expanding her horizons. Read about it here
This one’s a bonus-

Such eye candies, don’t you think?!
