A good friend invited us to her new multi-brand concept shop called ASKOS located in Songdo, Incheon which is about an hour away from Seoul last night (hence the same outfit). It’s a shop full of surprises, where you will find your “It Bag” but as well as daily must-haves such as comfortable (and affordable!) flats, mufflers and scarves to spice up your casual outfit, and various accessories ranging from statement necklaces to hair accessories. What’s more awesome is that they also carry super cute things for little children, such as the mini Kanken backpack in every possible color and tiny little sneakers and flats for the stylish little people.
Where I went a bit out of control…
Been loving these large YSLs (which is no longer YSL anymore but Saint Laurent, I understand),the Muse and the Chyc in particular- I really like how huge they are, large enough to carry around my daily necessities such as a laptop, antibacterial wipes, a book, a pair of extra shoes, snacks, etc.
Just couldn’t resist trying on their cute hair accessories, though I never wear anything on my hair anymore except for a mini spider clip thingy for functional reasons. Wasn’t expecting much, but I like how ‘warm’ and ‘Korean’ I look.
Layered head bands. Cool. When it’s sparkly, even better.
A gift for that special someone. Think he’ll kind of like it, a lot.
Another cute little furry thing for my hair that is far from being cute on its own. Instantly put a smile on my face. win!
Statement necklaces are a great investment for current season as well as the next. Go for it!
Oh, and how cool are these rings? Reminds me of jewelry the wealthy used to wear back in Chosun days when these types of fancy jewelry made with precious stones were worn with traditional Korean dresses. Actually wouldn’t mind rocking these with modern outfits, because as you know, I’m all about mix and match.
If you are in Incheon, don’t forget to stop by ASKOS located at the Canal Walk in Songdo International City. While you are there, explore Canal Walk and have a Korean barbecue dinner at “Samgyupsal with a Story” (이야기가 있는 삼겹살). It was truly amazing! (Check out my Instagram for food pictures) It was my first time in Songdo- with all the newly built facilities, parks, and high rises located near the water as well as the airport, I loved every bit of it- who knows, I may even end up moving there some day.
