Sometimes, I just can’t believe how much walking I’m doing these days (this is a good thing, btw). Actually, I cannot believe how little I used to walk in California. While I would appreciate occasional kick boxing or spinning sessions, walking does the job for now, and it’s quite entertaining too which is a plus. I just wish the air wasn’t so polluted but it’s not like I have control over it… As if carrying around an air purifier would help.
Rodeo street (funny name, I know, there are so many of these in Seoul though) in Apgujeong (pictured above) used to be the “it” place ten years ago. It was where the good looking guys in nice cars were seen drinking while watching pretty girls shopping and hanging out, and where popular Korean dramas were shot. I remember seeing Jang Dong Gun filming something.
While it no longer holds the title of being the hottest spot in Seoul, it’s still filled with little clothing shops, cafes and such. I remember hitting up these lounges called Cola-Tek which was like a bar for underage partygoers who weren’t legally allowed to drink alcohol, hence the name. I wonder what happened do them. Such a cool concept.

The last time I was in Rodeo Drive it was really quiet- I guess Garosugil has taken that spot for being cool. I love the second to last photo of you. And am jealous you can wear a sweater with shorts- I don’t think the air there is as humid as HK though which makes a huge difference.
lovely photos! i love the backdrop of the photos :) your hair colour is so cool. i’d love to dye mine like yours
Ah you look so awesome. I wish I could wear aviators. They just don’t suit me but my dad and my sister rock them!
yeah, it’s not as humid yet… i hear it will start to get pretty bad.. totally looking forward to it. haha
Will try to do more outfit photos with the city as the backdrop. :)
aww thanks sweetie. I’ve been experimenting with different shapes of glasses all my life. While I have ones that look “nicer” on me (according to people), I also own ones that are whatever but I still wear them if I feel like it so I may be an exception but people seem to pay attention to these “rules” about glasses and face shape.
Korea occasionally publishes articles regarding the relationship between face shape and shape of glasses and what looks best on whom kinda things… basic rule of thumb is to go opposite, as in if your face shape is round, try a square shape and vice versa. but I say it really depends on your taste. Even if a certain item may not look as good as the more “appropriate” design (according to the worldly rule), if you can style it in your own unique way, why not? :)
