Talk about Extreme Fashion. wow. I’m a fan of Zanotti because of his fearless display of artistic creativity through his works. His recent collaboration with Thakoon is quite amazing- I was actually hoping to be able to locate a photo of these really cute booties I saw in Bazaar the other day but it’s nowhere to be found, unfortunately. :(
I consider his designs more “art” than anything because his products obviously represent his passion and creativity as an artist than a plain shoemaker. These shoes are perfect examples, boldly exhibiting his artistic talent and passion. Despite not being a fan of wedge heels, I find the Leopard Sandals absolutely stylish. They would look awesome with a pair of pleated khaki shorts to sport a safari style. As for the Swarovski Sandals, I can totally picture them with a body-hugging black mini dress, perhaps a classy tube top dress… or in purple. ahh.. hotness. or, even a red dress!! I’m not quite willing to shell out $1000+ for a pair of shoes yet but if you are able to (or willing to), I say go get ‘em. Although they may look scary at first, these can actually upgrade your plain outfit to another level. Just make sure to coordinate with a simple outfit… no prints or embellishments, please. The shoes should get the attention, and in return, your outfit will be complemented to make you look like a celebrity. :D
