An amazing architect and sculptor, Calatrava claimed practice of architecture combined all the arts into one. Genius, indeed.
Actually got to see one of his architectural pieces in Valencia, Spain (where he’s from) couple years ago- what a mesmerizing encounter it was, albeit only for a split second.

My hubby has a collection of architecture books – including Calatrava’s, who happens to be one of his faves! Super clean, refreshing and oh so mosheetso, no? The water installation in this one does a lot.
yes, I absolutely love the water in this one! I’m going to hire him as an architect when I get my house built.
